1. Can you supply smartphones and rugged devices?

Of course we can. Please contact us or contact our partners worldwide.

2. Is there an alert that will email the control room/managers if my guard is off-schedule?

Yes! QR-Patrol offers real time email & visual (web application) notifications for missed checkpoints that were supposed to be scanned during a specific date/time period.

3. Can I see the position of my staff on the map?

Of course, in real time.

4. Can my staff send text notes to the control room during their tour?

Yes they can.

5. Can my staff send photos/sound during their tour?

Yes they can.

6. Can the control room send text notes/instructions to my staff?

Yes of course, using a very simple interface. The system even allows you to send text notes to multiple Guards simultaneously!

7. Can QR-Patrol be used for Incident Reporting?

Yes. The managers can define an Incidents list via the web application, and the Guard can subsequently choose from that predefined Incidents list the ones that best fit in the circumstances. Furthermore, the Guard can write text notes, add photos and sound recording in order to better describe the situation, and even assign that Incident to a Client.

8. Can the Incident Report contain pictures and text notes?

Yes of course.

9. Can the Incident Report be sent directly via e-mail to the client?

Yes of course. The Guard can choose to send directly and in real time the Incident Report to the client's e-mail address!

Moreover, you can schedule your clients’ reports to be sent automatically at a predefined time interval (e.g. daily/weekly/monthly).

10. Is it possible to edit the Incidents list?

Yes, you can create your own incidents or modify the existing ones by accessing the Incidents page in the web application.

11. Does the system allow me to set scheduled routes for my staff?

Yes of course. You can create two types of schedules: Loose and Strict ones.

12. What does Loose and Strict Schedule mean?

Loose schedules are the ones that do not require a strict scan time range and order of scanning your checkpoints. These are useful in cases where you just want to make sure that the Guards have visited a site any time within a loose time range (e.g. within 24hours).

On the other hand, Strict schedules are the ones that require a strict time range or specific order of checkpoint scanning. These can be of use if you want your Guards to visit sites in a specific order.

13. Can the schedules be sent to the mobile application?

Of course, in order for your staff to be aware of what to do next at any time!

14. Are there any reporting capabilities?

Yes, the system offers numerous built-in reports which can be exported in Excel and PDF format.

Moreover, GOLD (more information here) users have the option to create their own reports according to their needs through the Advanced Reporting Tool!

15. Is there available a KML export?

Yes, you can export a KML report for any tour performed and any path followed by your Guards that is recorded in the Guard Trail functionality (available for GOLD users, more information here).

16. Is there any way for the end customer to be informed about any incidents on their sites?

Yes, end customers can have their own credentials for accessing the web application or MARS mobile application (available for PRO and GOLD users, more information here), and monitor in real-time the actions that have taken place on their sites!

17. My client wants a patrol done every hour, starting at 11 am to 3 am the next day. Do I have to create 16 Schedules to receive the email alerts?

No, you can simply create one strict Schedule with 16 occurrences; this way, when a checkpoint is missed, the managers will be notified immediately.

18. Can the manager receive an alert on their smartphone as well as on the web application?

When your Guards send an SOS or Mandown alert, the manager receives a visual, a sound and an email alert on the web application in real time. They will also receive a push notification on their MARS mobile application (available for PRO and GOLD users, more information here) and they can also receive an SMS to up to 3 mobile numbers (tip: this is very useful in case the Guard does not have access to the internet!)

19. Will QR-Patrol notify our guards automatically about any new/updated schedules?

Yes; when a manager adds/updates a schedule, the change will be reflected in real time in the mobile application.

20. What happens to my guard's data in case of an internet loss?

The mobile application works properly offline as well and your Guards can continue submitting any type of event; all of the unsent events will be queued and will be uploaded to the web application once the device retrieves the signal. This way, there's no chance of losing any events!
